Altit Fort

Essentially, Altit Fort is a historic site where a guide will tell you the tale of two brothers. A designated parking area has been constructed near Altit Fort, requiring a 6-7 minute walk thereafter. During this walk, you can observe various residential houses and experience the local lifestyle. There are also some shops nearby. To enter Altit Fort, you need to purchase a ticket priced at 600 PKR,  but it is undoubtedly worth it After that, you proceed from the garden area. The major defensive purpose of this fort was to keep an eye on the caravans that the Hunza royal rulers, known as the Mirs, used to travel the Silk Road.

Despite their close bond, they developed rivalry and jealousy because they both wanted to be in charge wherein one person obtained the altit and his brother took control of another fort known as the baltit.

You’ll notice a corridor with guest quarters, chambers, storage rooms, and kitchens. From Altit Fort, you will see tall mountains with a blue river. The peace you will get there is what you’re looking for on a trip. This fort, older than Baltit Fort

It will only take 20 minutes to get to Altit Fort if you are in the Hunza Valley.

Passu cones is in gojal valley which is in hunza valley.Passu is situated in Upper Hunza. You can choose to view Passu Cones both along the way and up close.  If you’re in hunza valley you will need 2 hours to reach passu cones.From Karimabad, Passu Cones are approximately 1 to 1.5 hours away. During the season, you’ll find plenty of fruit vendors along the way. Near Attabad, there’s the village of Gulmit, offering a slight view of Passu Cones. On the way, you’ll also come across Hussaini village, though the road there can be a bit risky. The colors of these mountains will differ from one another.

You can reach Passu by jeep as well. Along the jeep track, you can even cross a bridge to enter the village. Passu offers dining options, with restaurants available in the area. You can enjoy both Passu Cones and Passu Glacier, both located along the Karakoram Highway. 

The peak of the mountains glows in the last rays of the setting sun like hot iron spears in a forge.

These are referred to as cones because of how sharp the upper mountains are. Cone shapes are what attract most people to this.
