Mansehra’s district government has issued a travel advisory for visitors based on recent snowfall in Pakistan’s northern regions. Authorities are alerting visitors to avoid high-altitude sites such Naran, Babusar Top, and the surrounding areas due of hazardous road conditions brought on by a lot of snow. Since Babusar Top, a well-known tourist attraction, is completely closed, visitors attempting to reach Batakundi are being routed to safer paths.
The advise warns about roads that are quite slippery and raise the risk of accidents. Rather, visitors are advised to visit more easily available sites as Shogran and Balakot. The temperature dipping below freezing will cause the tourism season of the Naran-Kaghan Valley to end in March.
To ensure their safety, visitors are advised to phone the helpline of the tourism department at 1422 to confirm the road conditions and weather before planning travel. This will help to prevent possible delays or hazards and ensure safe and simple travel.
