Murree is included in the most common and most visited places where people from Pakistan can normally go easily and where most people visit.

Mushkpuri Top
Basically, it is situated in Galyat. Mushkpuri is essentially a hiking destination that begins in Nathia Gali and takes about three hours to finish.
Around 90 kilometers from Islamabad, you’ll find Dunga Gali. You’ll pass through Dunga Gali while en route to Murree. There, you’ll start your trek to Mushkpuri, beginning at a reservoir from locals built to conserve water. Throughout the trek, you’ll have plenty of chances to snap some scenic pictures.

The primary route begins in Nathia Gali Bazaar.The walk along this moderately challenging route is filled with beautiful views. An additional track begins at Pindi Point, a well-known viewpoint point in Nathiagali and it’s a more direct trek to Mushkpuri.
Mushkpuri Top hiking Guide.
You cannot go directly to Mushkpuri from Nathia Gali. You have two routes: either you go from Ayubia National Park through chairlift to Dunga Gali, then from there you can go to Mushkpuri Top by hiking, which is easy and takes 2 hours. The second option is that you go to Dunga Gali by any transport and from there do the same 2-hour hiking.
Patriata Murree
In basic terms, Patriata murree is a new murree. This hill station is close to Murree. There are two routes to Patriata from Islamabad and Rawalpindi: one takes the modern Expressway, and the other takes the more conventional path via Murree Road, Lower Topa, and Jheeka Gali. Snow-covered mountains can be seen from the chairlift at Patriata, which is the main attraction.
If you want to visit Patriata from Islamabad, it’s just a 1.5-hour drive. You’ll reach Patriata Murree in no time. On the way, you’ll see lots of locals selling shawls along the roadside.
Once you reach Patriata and park your car, the first thing you’ll come across is the famous chairlift. It’s the main attraction here. You can buy tickets on the spot for around Rs. 1000 per person. The chairlift gives you a beautiful aerial view of the entire Patriata Murree area.
Apart from the chairlift, there are also cabins you can enjoy if you want. They’re optional, not necessary. Down below, you’ll also find swings for kids, small stalls where you can shop, and a few food options. But overall, the highlight of this place is definitely the chairlift.
Mall Road of Murree
So basically, Mall Road Murree is a street-type place where normally people have easy access.
Here, you will find different hotels to stay in, and different shops in which some are handicrafts, food items, and local shops.
Like, you will also find cafés where you will get different kinds of food in which there will be traditional food of the area, and apart from that, there will be wooden items and traditional things also available.
You will also find traditional clothes and jewellery. There will be different dry fruit shops people usually buy dry fruits and shawls from here to take for gifting.
When you visit here in snow time like in December or January, then you will see all around just mountains covered in snow.
Which is a beautiful view you will see Fir, Spruce type trees which with these white mountains look very beautiful.

Kashmir view point
One of Murree’s most popular tourist destinations, Kashmir view Point, is the ideal place for you to visit. It is the area’s highest point. So the first thing is that it is called Kashmir View Point because basically it is in Murree, but from here you get the view of Kashmir’s mountains that’s why it is called Kashmir View Point.
It is at some distance from Murree, so people usually go by walking only. Normally, people are going there on morning or evening walks.

A unique thing about Kashmir View Point is that before snow starts in the lower areas of Murree, it starts snowing here.

After a few minutes of walk, there is a place called Tariq View Point which is a very beautiful and quiet place because people don’t know about this place, that’s why there isn’t any crowd here.

Ayubia National Park
If you are in Murree then it will take you 1 to 1.5 hour to reach Ayubia National Park, near Ayubia National Park there are small towns too like Thandiani, Dunga Gali, you can visit there too. If you take chairlift then through that you can go till Dunga Gali. Chairlift normally costs between 300 and 500 PKR. The chairlift is a well-liked tourist attraction that provides breathtaking views of the park. The park also provides a variety of activities for people to enjoy, guaranteeing a fun day for all.

There is also a pipeline track here that runs along the lower side from Ayubia. The Moto Tunnel must be crossed before starting the Pipeline Track.
